Here, a wide variety of workpieces with often complex cast contours are being measured on a 3D coordinate measurement machine. With the MATRIX® mold clamping system, the set-up of the necessary, part-specific measurement devices is very easy. A T-slot profile plate of variable size serves as the basis, on which the pin modules can be freely placed. In connection with intermediate elements, angle pieces, cone and prism mountings, the pin modules can be optimally adapted to any workpiece contours. Light components can additionally be stabilized with downholders, horizontal clamps, and vacuum cups. The pins that gently rest on the workpiece are made of stainless steel and, if necessary, can be equipped with soft plastic caps for particularly sensitive components. The modules and intermediate elements are made of aluminum alloys and therefore stable, light, and maintenance-free. The sophisticated and simple structure of the construction kits makes MATRIX® fit for all tasks.
With the modular system by MATRIX®, the set-up of part-specific measurement devices is very easy.
